Crafting Personal Style

 I've had a few careers in my life time but no matter what I do it all leads back to my instinctive need to create, design, and coordinate art in everything I see. My eye for clothing and a refined  detailed look started with my grandma though. I was born and raised in an average middle class family in South Sacramento, CA where I spent a lot of days with my grandmother and my aunt. My grandmother was
born and raised in Mexico by a single mother for part of her life who raised her on the salary of a seamstress. Despite financial struggles she was always dressed with grace, style, and class. Her motto was simple, “We might be poor, but we can dress with class”. Everyday she made sure my school clothes were ironed to perfection, every strand of combed hair in its place, and a spray of my grandfather’s old cologne as the finishing detail. I listened, practiced, and carried on with her motto of dressing with class. Now I’m
