No matter what I do, it all leads back to my instinctive need to create, design, and coordinate art in everything I see. My eye for clothing and refinement started with my grandma. Born and raised in an average middle-class family in South Sacramento, CA. I spent my days with my grandmother, who was born and raised in Mexico by a seamstress and single mom.  Despite financial struggles, she was always dressed with grace, style, and class. Her motto was simple: “We might be poor, but we can dress with class.”

 

Every day, she made sure my school clothes were ironed to perfection, every strand of combed hair in its place, and a spray of my grandfather’s old cologne as the finishing detail. I listened, practiced, and carried on with her motto of dressing with class.
